New Improved Clippers increase Production and Grade
The superior Capital design allows for cleaner edges on the veneer bundle which increases production and grade and decreases degradation of the veneer. You have better stability when cutting thick bundles of veneer because of the superior Capital veneer clippers design using a gray iron tapered wedge for the adjustment of the knife bar to the sheer bar. The rigid design of the knife bar featuring heavy internal ribbing prevents the knife bar from pushing away from the sheer bar in the center of the machine.
With the Capital Clipper you can cut dry veneer more accurately and for longer periods of time before sharpening the knife and shear bar. This new clipper is twice as heavy as previous models with more bearing surface which means less adjusting, reduced wear and ease of maintenance for longer life. There’s greater visibility of the veneer pack and you can cut with tighter tolerance to .001″ (.025 mm) between knife and shear bar. New Capital Heavy Duty End Clipper allows for strapping as close as 11″ (279 mm) from the end of the bundle of veneer.

Performance
Capital clippers can cut up to 200 feet per minute depending upon the material and application. For cutting products such as wood veneer, fabrics, paper, plastics, rubber, leather, light metals or fiberboard, singly or in packs, there’s a Capital clipper design that can assure quality-cutting results. We build clippers to last. The framework is made of heavy cast iron, vibration free and durable. Our veneer pack clippers are available with an optional three-position delivery table.
Choice of Cutting Actions
A. Knife moves vertically downward, contacting a cutting stick. Ideal for cutting fiberglass insulation, single sheet veneer, plastic sheets and various weights of paper.
B. Knife descends vertically past a shear bar. This cutting action is designed for fast cutting of products including bundles of wood veneer, plastics, single sheet foils and light metals.

Air-Opera Tea Anil Mechanical Operated Capabilities
We manufacture both stop/start mechanical or air operated clippers to fit your special cutting requirements. We offer an inclusive size selection from 36″ to 150″ wide – with standard openings from 11/4″ up to an optional 6″. Air operated models have openings from 1″to2″.
Retrofit or Rebuild
Capital Machine can readily equip your clipper with a variety of controls. Dual Palm Switch with anti-repeat anti-tie down can be built into new equipment or added to the clipper you already own.
Capital offers you clippers that can be equipped with advanced sensing systems for the ultimate in precision cutting, making it possible to cut materials to whatever lengths you determine-accurately at high speeds. Other sensing equipment such as photoelectric eyes, air logic, limit switches, and counters are available when precision cutting length and uniformity are vital.
