The Capital hog allows you to become more energy efficient by using your scrap veneer to provide fuel for your boilers. High quality wood waste generates more BTUs allowing your plant to become self-sufficient. Excess can be sold to makers of particle or flake board at a profit. In some plants, wood-fired boilers provide the steam for drying the veneer as well as for cooking the logs.

Additional steam could be used to generate electricity, so your Capital Hog doesn't cost you money, it makes important profits for you. Hogs can be supplied with either a hopper feed or conveyor feed to give you the flexibility to place the scrap hog where it assists your operation the most.
