The Capital flitch planer is available in 30" (76.2cm) and 39.5" (100.3cm) models, with or without an integrated groover. This massive machine will plane both the top and bottom of the flitch to provide a flat mounting surface and to remove the initial waste before the flitch even gets to the slicer.

The conveyor can be linked to your existing flitch movement system. A laser alignment light shows the operator where the cut line will be and allows precision preparation of the flitch. The variable speed drive allows the operator complete control of the movement of the conveyor and the safety circuits limit the speed of the conveyor as the flitch is being planed.
